Myrian Aragón, LMFT offers consultation and training for organizations and specializes in implementing of cultural competence plans and cultural competence training for providers of mental health and social services. Myriam received her doctoral degree in Psychology from the University of Valle, Colombia-South America; and in California; she is a Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist. She has 15 years of clinical experience working with multicultural populations. She is a bilingual, Spanish speaking therapist who focus in the development and implementation of appropriate culturally and linguistic competent services for the Hispanic/Latinos population. In the County of San Bernardino Department of Behavioral Health, she coordinates the Cultural Competency and Training Unit. She is a member of the California State Center for Multicultural Development Advisory board, and the co-chair of the Southern California Ethnic Service Managers Committee under the direction of the California Mental Health Directors Association. She has been involved in several published research projects.
